With the Welfare out of action yet again, Cross Keys kindly allowed us to host RTB Ebbw Vale at Pandy Park this morning. With the sun shining and the pitch in fantastic condition it lent itself to a game of open rugby and that’s exactly what we got! We witnessed some fantastic running, ball handling and off loads resulting in outstanding tries for both sides. The final play of the game saw Abercarn score in the corner to tie the game at 19-a-piece.

Special mention today has to go to Carson Withers for his deserved MOM performance - half way through the second half RTB ran the ball from deep with some nice passing, the ever alert young Withers took his chance with a brilliant interception try. Well done Carson!!!
