Fixture

Risca welcomed us to the fire-station fields this morning but they were unfortunately low on numbers with only 5 of their own players available. We had 12 players and 4 of our boys showed great maturity and immediately volunteered to play for Risca to ensure the game went ahead. David, Ioan, Hayden and Rylie really strengthened the Risca outfit but Abercarn eventually ran out winners at 15-8 with tries for 6 of our twinkle-toed runners.

The man of the match was awarded to Hayden for his brilliant try in the corner and for his outstanding sportsmanship to play for the opposition in our last game of the season!!! Well done Hayden - see you on tour!
