This morning saw Abercynon visit the Welfare to take on the Emerald & Greens in their own back yard. Abercynon were short on numbers resulting in a stop start affair as Abercarn made changes throughout maintaining the WRU 1/2 game committment. Abercarn scored first and led throughout, managing to hold on and win a hard fought contest 6-5.

This weeks MOM was awarded to Alex Richardson for some nice footwork and good tackling. Alex is one of our consistent performers, giving 100% week in week out. Well done Alex!!!
