Fixture

With the fixture brought forward to Friday 8th so the kids could represent the club at Remembrance Sunday, we welcomed Cwmbran Minis & Juniors to the Welfare on a near freezing end to the week. Abercarn were strong in numbers again so Cwmbran agreed to play 3 x 10 minutes. Abercarn set the bar high early on with some big crunching tackles and some nice tries running from deep, the visitors were camped on the Carns line but the defence didn't creak. After the second break the score was 11-0 to the Emerald & Blacks but Cwmbran showed some guts to stick in there and cross line 5 times in the last 10 minutes. Credit to both sides in the arctic temperatures...

This weeks MOM was awarded to Ethan Bullock for some good tackling and a great try! Whether training or game time, Ethan gives 100% - well done Ethan!!!
