Fixture

After 6 weeks of cancelled fixtures Newbridge arranged the Thursday night match under lights at Islwyn High School. Both teams played a good hard spirited game of rugby. Abercarn took an early lead with a couple of tries from set piece but Newbridge fought back to stay in the game. Both teams scored alternate tries throughout the tough match but the final result was 8-6 to the Emerald & Blacks. The game was a great spectacle for everyone watching with some really hard tackling and great running lines.

MOM this week was awarded to Alex Richardson. Alex is one of our best players and consistently puts a shift in, tonight he put on another great display in both attack and defence – well done Alex!!!
